A husband & wife team approached Plumbelly to design their visual identity. As a new start up yoga studio they wanted to stand out and be different. As in Aldous Huxley’s story The Island, where the Minah bird shouts out “Be here, be now”, mindfulness is at the heart of the yoga that the couple teaches. The logo was therefor developed with the clients request to include the Minah bird as part of the logo mark to represent mindfulness. The Minah bird became an essential part of the logo, giving it an eastern, yet modern feel. The logo was then applied to various printed, promotional materials as well as to yoga clothing and tote bags.
